EXPERIENCE
Jason has actively litigated cases in state and federal courts in New Mexico since 2004. This includes representing litigants in multiple jury trials. In addition to handling cases at the district court level, Jason has represented clients in civil matters in the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, various administrative agencies, as well as before the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has successfully defended various state agencies and officials, as well as multiple Public School Districts in employment, civil rights and negligence claims.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT

When not practicing law, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, camping, backpacking and mountain biking. He also enjoys both fishing and hunting in New Mexico’s beautiful outdoors.  During the past decade, Jason has spent much of his free time volunteering with various youth organizations, including East Mountain AYSO, Boy Scouts of America, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, East Mountain High School and Little League. He is a member of the Council of School Attorneys, and was previously on the board of directors of NM Equal Access to Justice, and the NM Innocence and Justice Project.
