EXPERIENCE
Beth German has been practicing law in New Mexico since 1991. She has extensive experience in state and federal court as well as in various administrative tribunals defending civil rights, employment, personal injury, school law, contract and statutory claims. Beth has defended clients in jury and non-jury trials in several New Mexico counties and in federal court, and has argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the New Mexico Supreme Court and the New Mexico Court of Appeals. She has extensive experience with various types of alternative dispute resolution. Her clients include public entities such as schools, counties, municipalities, and state agencies as well as their officials, administrators and employees. Beth also represents a variety of small businesses and non-profit organizations. In addition to litigation, Beth enjoys advising clients on business issues, serving as a hearing officer, conducting personnel and other types of investigations, and providing training in employment law compliance. She is a 1984 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, and a 1981 graduate of Colorado College. Before moving to New Mexico she practiced Labor and Employment Law in Washington, D.C. and corporate law in Texas. Beth’s family is from Austin, Texas but Beth’s pre-college years were spent in Japan, the Soviet Union, Germany, Norway and Washington, D.C.
